September 8, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Kannada actor turned debutant director Anand, who is making a movie titled “5 Idiots’, has completed shooting, dubbing and editing of the movie, which is now at the re-recording stage. The re-recording is going on at the Akash recording theatre in Shivananda Circle.

“5 Idiots’ is claimed to have not copied contents from the Hindi blockbuster movie “3 Idiots’. Anand started his career as a child actor and won state award too. Now, he has turned a major actor and will debut into direction with “5 Idiots’. Anand has directed television serial titled “SSLC Nan Maklu’.

The debutant director will focus on the comedy elements of the five youngsters and he will pass the message “quick money does not last long’. Anand was quoted saying that the five youths in the movie will be shown thinking idiotically but they will end up creating history. These youths plan of kidnap and get involved in several funny situations.

The Idiot No. 1 will be played by Anand himself and Vasu will play the Idiot No 2. Vasu said that the director and actor Anand has made the tough jobs very easy for them. He said all of them were on a big laugh riot while completing the shoot.

Petrol Prasanna will be seen as the Idiot No 3, who was chosen by the producers. The other cast of the film includes Dayanand, Harshika Poonachcha, Bank Janardhan, Tennis Krishna and Chidayana.

Producer Lokesh Murthy wishes to promote the film in Karnataka by travelling across the state. The other producer Mohan is confident about the success of this movie.

Manohar is the cameraman for “5 Idiots’ and Renu has composed the music for the lyrics by Kalyan.
