Dec. 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Kannada film industry has been hit with the death of yet another star, Sahasa Simha Dr. Vishnuvardhan. Dr. Vishnuvardhan passed away due to a sudden heart attack. The film star was only 59 years old at the time of death. He passed away on his way to the Vikram Hospital in Mysore, sometime around 2:30 in the morning. He leaves behind his wife, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan and their two children.

He had been suffering from health problems for the last five years. Recently, the actor and singer had retired to Mysore as he had been ordered by his doctors to take complete rest. Recently, his health had been deteriorating rapidly, despite the fact that he had been under complete rest. The day before he died, Vishnuvardhan had been admitted to the Vikram Hospital, after he complained of severe pain in the chest. He was treated and released, but the next day, the attacks returned and he had to be rushed to the hospital in the ambulance that the facility provided, following an emergency call from the Kannada superstar’s residence. Unfortunately, he expired en route to the hospital, sometime around 2:30 in the morning. The state is deeply shocked at the death of one of the stalwarts of the industry, and all schools and colleges in Bangalore have been declared closed in mourning for the day.
