Kangana Ranuat's Madhubala act After the success of Fashion, Kangana Ranuat is on cloud nine. The actress will now be seen in Milan Lutharia’s Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and it’s said that her character is inspired by Madhubala and she is pairing opposite Ajay Devgan. The film will speak about a very tender romance between the yesteryear actress and underworld don Haji Mastan which will be played by Ajay Devgan.

We spoke to our source close to the film,

“Kangana Ranuat will be playing an important character from the film industry. She plays on-screen Anarkali (Madhubala). Its a very tender romance between this funny don Haji Mastan(Ajay Devgan) and this female superstar. The shooting of the film will start by the end of May or June.”

Further our source told us, “As instructed, in the mean time she is watching lots of Madhubala films and reading articles which were published at that time. She is quite nervous about her role.”

We spoke to Kangana’s close source who confirmed abut Kangana acting in the film but didn’t comment anything else.

“She is doing this film but we can’t reveal anything.”

This is not first time that she is playing the life of an actress. Earlier also she played the role of late Parveen Babi in Woh Lamhe and now this time its Madhubala. This film is very dark and involves lots of research. Besides Ajay Devgan and Kangana, Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai will also be the part of this film.
