September 30th, 2009 - 4:50 pm ICT by Sampurn WirePriyadarshan’s national award winning film, Kanchivaram will be releasing in theatres soon. The film which stars Prakashraj in the lead role, playing a silk weaver from the pre-independence period, is about the silk weaver’s mental conflict between his communist philosophies and his personal interest. Priyadarshan has said that he hasn’t made the film anti-communist but has only tried to show how people who believe in communism have trouble following it because of their own dreams.
