Kamalika Banerjee In Sujoy Ghosh’s Next

Speaking to the media, Kamalika confirms the news saying that she is upbeat about her first appearance in a Hindi film and is very excited about the fact that she will be working with a director of the stature of Sujoy Ghosh.
Parts of the upcoming Sujoy Ghosh release have already been shot in the city of Kolkata. With Vidya Balan in the lead, the Sujoy Ghosh film is already being talked about in media circles, with critics terming the film as a different kind of cinema. ‘Kahaani’ will show actress Kamalika Banerjee enacting the role of a government officer. Though the role is a bit part in the movie, the actress is keeping her hopes pinned on it as her character is pivotal for the progress in the storyline of ‘Kahaani’.
Apart from Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Kahaani’, work on Partha Sarathi Joardar’s next project is also keeping Kamalika Banerjee busy these days. The girl, who is chiefly seen in Bengali soaps, will be seen in a couple of movies over the next few months. The most notable among them is a Buddhadeb Dasgupta film. Here’s hoping that Kamalika Banerjee who has also featured in a number of Hindi serials, enjoys her brush with Hindi cinema.
