Kamal Haasan And Trisha Krishnan May Get Legal Notices

The Hindu Makkal Katchi has said in a statement to the media that such insulting content cannot be blared at every house or theater. Members of the party have demanded the omission of the particular lines from the ‘Manmadhan Ambu’, failing which they will be forced to take legal steps against the actors featured in the song and also the film’s producers. It is on lead actors Kamal Haasan and Trisha Krishnan that Kannodu Kannai Kalandhal has been filmed. Not only that, both South Indian actors have also sung certain parts of the particular song in their own voice. Therefore they now stand guilty of insulting religious beliefs.

Nothing has been commented yet by the film’s producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, its director K S Ravikumar and the actors who have been named by the Hindu Makkal Katchi. Media reports claim that all four people involved with the ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ song have already been warned about the steps that the party will take against them if the objectionable song is not altered. Legal notices are hence waiting for Kamal Haasan, Trisha Krishnan, Udhyanidhi Stalin and K S Ravikumar.
