bad1May 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest episode of the popular series ‘Breaking Bad’ was aired on Sunday, May 16. The episode was named, somewhat sinisterly, “Kafkaesque.” This was the ninth episode of the third season of the series. The episode turned out to be a highly appreciated one, and according to critics, it thoroughly lived up to the sinister nomenclature. However, according to a certain group of critics, the director of the episode just overdid things somewhat, making the episode come across as over the top in places. However, it cannot be denied that the episode did receive wide viewership, and also critical acclaim.

The episode Kafkaesque takes a look at the characters as they get broke, or maybe just plain too greedy. Soon enough, they start to hatch a new plan, or at least, Jesse and Saul does. Saul points out to Jesse that owning a nail spa would be perfect for a money laundering scheme, sand although Jesse resists initially, stating that owning a nail spa is not his life’s ambition, gives in. On the other hand the episode also deals with some of the problems in the personal life of the characters, taking away, thankfully, some of the frenzied madness that the series usually serves up.

There seems to be another marked difference between this episode and the ones aired before this. For the first time, the show seems to be keeping an opinion about a political issue, that to, about the sensitive and highly debated health care, when Marie says that the health insurance policy of hank does not guarantee him a complete recovery. Hank seems to be partly paralyzed.
