Feb 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Justin Timberlake put on a fashion show during New York’s fashion week that had many heads turning. His new fashion label, “William Rast” was a huge hit among those in attendance. New York Magazine called his designs sophisticated and classy.

Justin Timberlake, along with his designing partner, Trace Ayala, sat down together and came up with a fashion line that not only reflects Timberlake’s style, but his music tastes as well. In an interview that e gave earlier in the week, Timberlake said, “We had this idea of discoverers … and what does the modern-day discoverer look like? Biker culture brought the word ‘nomadic’ to mind, which brought the word ‘bohemian’ to mind.” He also added ““Well, I think since the beginning of rock and roll, people have wanted to dress like rock stars,” he said backstage at his show on Wednesday during New York Fashion Week. “I still find old Mick Jagger jackets that I wish I could pull out of his closet or something. Of course, they wouldn’t fit me. Very tight.” he told MTV News.

Justin seems to have his fans in mind when he designs his clothing. he had this to say ” “I think the thing we’re most happy about is that so many runway shows you go to and you go, ‘That was an amazing piece. What an art piece,’ ” he explained. “But then it’s like, you’ll never see that ever again. Although we had a huge idea, which was the Midwest and nomadic discoverer meets biker culture, I think we were able to really focus on being consumer-based. A lot of what you’ll see on the runway is very wearable”

Although many singers, actors and actresses attempt to make it in the fashion world, Timberlake seems to be doing just that.
