Hollywood celebrities have become quite socially responsible these days. They are ready to do every possible thing they can for the benefit of the society. American musician Alicia Keys’ BuyLife.org is raising fund for charity so some artists like Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Ryan Seacrest and Jennifer Hudson came out showing their support. They were all doing it to collect fund for AIDS charity.
Initially, these celebrities were supposed to keep themselves away from their Digital Life by staying out of their Twitter, Facebook and other online social networking sites until $1 million was collected in the charity fund.
However, the fans are not ready to stay away from their favorite stars so they donated as much as possible in the charity fund to get back the digital life of the stars. There is a report that the BuyLife.org site has raised over $183,493 till December 3.
Television personality Kim Kardashian did her bit by posing like a dead body for posters. It attracted everyone’s attention. She was seen lying in a casket wearing a cocktail dress.
Following her, some other celebrities also kept themselves away from the digital world. A spokesperson for the campaign said that it will take quite some time to reach the $1 million target but he doubts if the celebrities can keep their promise till that time because they are so used to communicate with their fans.
Hope this good mission of the celebrities succeeds very soon and their digital death brings life to many AIDS patients!
