Not many artists can boast of a popularity where a mere change in the direction of the locks can cause a great rage on the web. The star was seen sporting a new hairstyle at an event in New York City where he was promoting his new book. The fans thought that he had cut down his signature locks and thus started their usual discussions and speculations on the web. A few days after the reports emerged, his managed rubbished the rumors and said that he had merely brushed his hair in the opposite direction.

The Justin Bieber hairstyle has been a great rage among teenagers all over the world with many heading to the salon to get a similar look. The new hairstyle showed the Canadian pop sensation having a slightly darker hair (result of moisture) and signs of a parting. Though it was unclear from the hairstyle whether he had the haircut, it was enough to spark the debate among the Justin Bieber fans.

The star had earlier told the media that he does not use a hair product. Some bloggers also said that it was neither a haircut nor a hairstyle change and only a bad hair day for the pop star. His manager Scooter Braun said that the star merely brushed his hair in another direction and the entire world began to think that he had cut his hair. He explained that a mere shake of his head would bring him back to his same hairstyle. The star was spotted again over the weekend sporting his signature side-swept locks.
