Justin Bieber’s Apperance In Roosevelt Field Mall Cancelled For Crowd Safety

justinNov.21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Fans of singer Justin Bieber who were waiting to catch a glance of the singer, were highly disappointed as he did not turn up to the Roosevelt Field Mall. The singer was supposed to visit the mall for an album signing event but the Nassau Police officials had to cancel it due to the huge crowd. According to sources, around three thousand young ladies [with their parents] were waiting for the singer’s appearance and pushed each other to get a better standing place. This created a chaos and police officials decided to call off the event due to safety measures.

According to sources, people who gathered at the mall became extremely aggressive and injured each other. Five people were sent to hospital for treatment. Though there were several injuries, none of them is reported to be of severe in nature. James A. Roppo, senior vice president of Island Def Jam Records, was arrested by the police. Island Def Jam Records has released Bieber’s album, “My World” and their vice president got arrested for not cooperating with the police officials in their crowd control measures.

Friday’s event though gathered a large number of people and showed the fan following of 15 years old singer Justin Bieber, it also brought disappointments for him. He could not attend the signing event at the mall and the vice president of his label might face several charges for his non-cooperation with the police. In one of the interviews, he said that he was not allowed to enter the mall and authorities also threatened to arrest him if he tried to.
