New York, Nov 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Justin Bieber has reportedly agreed to take a paternity test to prove that he is not the father of a three-month-old child. The Canadian teen singer has come under fire after a woman accused him of fathering a child with her.

Celebrity website TMZ has reported that Bieber plans to have a DNA test in two weeks time. The singer is currently on a tour and has promised to have the test as soon as he returns home. The singer hopes that the lab test will finally settle the issue so that he gets to concentrate on his career.

The report said the legal teams of both sides have agreed to the test and the lab they will have the procedure done at. Bieber’s lawyers reportedly plan to sue his accuser shortly after test is conducted.

Bieber has insisted that he is innocent of all the charges filed against him. He was on “Today” show and told Matt Lauer that, “I’d just like to say basically that none of those allegations are true. I know I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim.”

The 17-year-old believes the allegations are part of a smear campaign on his personality.
