Justin Bieber pushed to number two by Adele’s ‘21′
March 4th, 2011 - 3:07 pm ICT by ANILondon, Mar 4 (ANI): Canadian singer Justin Bieber has lost the top spot on the US Billboard chart to English singer/songwriter Adele.
Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never: The Remixes’ was pushed to number two by Adele’s second album, ‘21′, which went straight to the top of the chart in its first week of release after it sold 352,000 copies, the BBC reported.
Adele, who won a Grammy for best new artist in 2009, now has two albums in the top 20 after her debut record, ‘19′, leapt back up the chart from 50 to 16.
Meanwhile, Adele is on course to continue her chart reign in the UK, and she is expected to spend a third week at the top of the singles chart, with ‘21′ also leading the album race for a sixth week. (ANI)
