November 9, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): ‘Baby’ singer Justin Bieber sits right there at the top with the whole world looking up at him with an awed admiration. At merely 16, from no one he has gone on to become the numero uno.
I am not advocating that he is the undisputed king of music but the very fact that he commands such a immense fan following such a raw age speaks volumes about the talent this boy has. And it’s not solely talent that has lent him such a humongous following. His innocence, his modesty, his ability to gel with fans and the fact that he hails from a humble background, make him extremely amiable amongst the masses.
Stamping his authority in the music circuit, now the pint sized Canadian singer has notched up two EMA Awards in the recently concluded ceremony. Though he lost out the Best New Act to Ke$ha, he vanquished pros like Enrique Iglesias, Kanye West, Eminem and even his mentor Usher while grabbing the Best Male.
As he trotted on to the stage to collect his award, hundreds of Madrid spectators drooled and clapped breaking out into thunderous applause and, thereby, reiterating the fact that a new kid is daring to tread onto the paths where only the likes of Michael Jackson or Elvis Presley have ventured before…….
