Justin Bieber donates $1 from every concert ticket sale to charity
December 28th, 2010 - 4:31 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Dec 28 (ANI): Teenage pop sensation Justin Bieber, who went from being a poor kid to an international superstar in just a year, donates 1 dollar (66 pence) from every concert ticket sale to a charity helping to build schools in the Third World.
The singer insists he knows what it’s like to have little and he wants to help other struggling kids get the best they can out of life.
The Baby hitmaker supports Pencils of Promise and has quietly raised hundreds of thousands to help the organisation fund schools in the poorest parts of the world.
“That can help out so much - and it’s a 1 dollar out of all concert tickets,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying. (ANI)
