December 13, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The gossip mills are churning out tales of a possible link up between the Canadian singer Justin Bieber and the Disney star Selena Gomez after the two were spotted digging their teeth into pancakes over a cosy breakfast.

In fact, these two have been headlining their romance for quite some time. But just when the whispers begin to slow down, they are sighted together sparking fresh amounts of rumours.

Past Wednesday on the romantic day of 8th December, Bieber and Gomez were spotted breakfasting together at the International House of Pancakes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As the eye witnesses put it, they even held hands and were busy chitchatting and giggling.

Later the two walked arm in arm as they walked out of the eatery. But even as the fables of teen-hood romance colour the gossip pages, one of the duo has spoken up on the issue. Selena has unzipped her lips and cites that she and Bieber are merely good friends. She goes on to add that since both of them were performing at the same place they decided to dig into some delicious pancakes together. But there’s no love story brewing.

Selena, it would appear, looks at him in a brotherly way (at least, that’s what she intends to convey). But Justin being a hardcore romancer may have got his heart struck by the cupid. After all, this Pied Piper knows how to make girls dance to his tunes. And he has a fetish for older women (read Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry).
So, as the concluding thought, we would like to end this story on a speculative note. Are Bieber-Gomez an item? Is it media’s figment of fiction and just a piece of trash? But don’t forget, there is always a fire underneath the rising smoke.
