Los Angeles, Aug 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Preparations for the trial of the doctors and lawyer/boyfriend behind the death of Anna Nichole Smith have began with possible jurors being questioned on all aspects of their lives, which ranged from their medical background to their opinion of the charges.

Superior Court Judge Robert Perry plans to have a jury selected for the case before Wednesday. According to the judge, most of the prospective jurors had an idea about the life and death of the model according to the questionnaire they filled. He however said he wasn’t happy about some of the answers given. He said that, “I was a little disappointed with the responses to the question, ‘What have you learned about the case? The answers were, ‘Only what I saw on TV.’”

It ought to be mentioned that Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, Smith’s physicians as well as attorney and boyfriend Howard K. Stern have been accused of unlawfully collaborating to supply Smith with illegal drugs. They have however not been charged with the overdose that killed her in Florida three years ago.

All three accused persons have refused to plead guilty and a trial is set to begin in a couple of days. Statements by the judge indicated prosecutors wanted to try the trio in a similar way to the unintentional manslaughter charges against Conrad Murray, who was the doctor of Michael Jackson.
