dance1As the competition is advancing towards its final stages, the stakes are piling up more and more; the journey to stardom is getting more tough too. On July 16, on the episode of “So You Think You Can Dance“, it was a time to jumble up the well settled pairs. So the ladies were called to pick a chit of paper from amidst others in a hat that would chose the name of their future dancing partner for the show. The outcome was a near disaster for quite some pairs as they got matched sadly out of tune.

The viewers alone got the right to oust the pair they thought least deserving of the Top 10 to be on the show on Thursday night (no saves by the angelic intervention of the judges) and sadly the dynamic performer Randi Evans had to bid adieu to the show, along with her mismatched partner Kupono. Judges too found their paso double, which is most certainly a very difficult dance for quite a lot of dancers to pull off, lacking in passion and strength. The dance routine was made worse by the evident and pronounced difference in the duo’s size. The matter was worsened when Kupono had dropped Randi in the final dip.

Thursday’s elimination episode started with the top ten performers dancing to the tune of the Janet Jackson number “So Much Betta” which had been choreographed by Wade and Amanda Robson. Joining Randi in the bottom two girls was Melissa and Ade and Kupono were unsafe from the boy’s side.
