Juliette Lewis Recovering After Car Accident

October 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actress Juliette Lewis, the face of the 1991 popular Hollywood movie “Cape Fear” was the victim of a hit and run accident in the Burbank region of California last Wednesday. Reports from Hollywood suggest that Juliette Lewis is now doing well at her residence after receiving a brief treatment in a local hospital. A spokeswoman of the actress, speaking from her Hollywood residence said that Juliette Lewis has been suffering from a pain in the head, back and neck as a result of the accident.
Reports from the police officials who were present at the place of accident suggest that a vehicle slammed into the four-door Sedan that Juliette Lewis was driving in while on the way home after attending an event for her upcoming flick “Conviction”. However police have not been able to trace the whereabouts of the driver of the other car, he is said to have fled from the scene immediately after the accident took place. Juliette Lewis was fortunately not hurt much apart from a little bruising here and there, although police say that she appeared a bit nervous while being taken to hospital.
The 37- year-old actress is best known for her role in “Cape Fear”, for which she had also received an Oscar nomination for the best supporting actress. Juliette Lewis is currently busy with work related to her upcoming movie “Conviction” which will hit theaters in the near future.
