London, July 21 (IANS) Actress Julianne Moore’s children’s book series “Freckleface Strawberry” will be turned into a stage musical.
“It’s really exciting and fun, and kind of amazing and given my history as a performer, super-weird to be in this other position,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Moore as saying.

“Everybody should enjoy it, but remember that Freckleface Strawberry is seven years old. That’s the character, so I wanted to make sure that in the jokes and the humour, we stay within that, because that’s the charm,” she added.

The 46-year-old star has two children with director husband Bert Freundlich.

The musical will be directed by Buddy Crutchfield and choreographed by Gail Pennington Crutchfield. However, the cast has not been announced yet but will reportedly feature adults in the children’s roles. Previews will begin Sep 9.
