Julianne Moore Speaks About Her Red Hair Teasing Experience In School

October 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Hollywood actress Julianne Moore says that she was teased in school by the other students of her class because she had red hair. Speaking to the media, Julianne Moore recalls how everyone in her class either had red or blonde locks, making her stand out among the rest of the heads. As a child, Julianne Moore did feel that she was being teased and ridiculed, however, that never made her feel that she wanted to change the color of her hair.
Julianne Moore is all of 49 years of age now and her childhood days are far behind her, but looking at her two children, the actress is often reminded of her schooldays.
Julianne Moore is married to Bart Freundlich and the couple have two children named Caleb and Liv. Both children attend regular school and the actress is happy that they have followed her footsteps. Like their mother never bothered about the reactions of the other students in her class, 12-year-old Caleb and 8-year-old Liv are also comfortable with their red hair.
Julianne Moore says that while her daughter sports dark auburn locks, her son has light red hair and like any other mother, the actress feels that they look absolutely beautiful.
