Julianne Moore sheds For 2011 Pirelli Calendar!

Julianne Moore has taken the identity of Greece’s goddess of marriage, Hera as she features in the black and white version of the ‘Pirelli’ calendar along with a couple of professional ramp and print models. According to a statement made by the calendar’s authorities, the 2011 theme for the Pirelli calendar is mythology and hence Julianne Moore has been featured as goddess Hera.
The ‘Pirelli’ calendar next year has a surprise in store for its VIP customers. Since the calendar started publication forty years back, it has never made use of a male on its pages. However, the 2011 edition of the Pirelli calendar seeks to change the established norm. According to reports in the media, four male faces will be a part of the 2011 calendar and they will be armed with only a codpiece for protecting their private parts.
Actresses being part of the ‘Pirelli’ calendar is not an unknown happening. In the past too, Sophie Loren and Penelope Cruz were featured on the ‘Pirelli’ calendar pages. Apart from Julianne Moore, the 2011 edition will feature supermodel Lara Stone who will be dressed up as Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty.
