Julianne Moore is the new face of Talbots

Los Angeles, Feb 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Talbots have chosen 50-year-old Julianne Moore for its 2011 Spring Summer Ad Campaign. She will be the face of Talbot from the second quarter of the year. Subsequently several shots that will be used for ads have been taken.

The actress was shot from various locations with natural backgrounds. The shots were taken by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Talbots chose Linda Evangelista for last year’s ad campaign. For being chosen as the face of Talbots, Julianne will be involved in promoting the brands of the retailer. She will most probably be doing more than what Evangelista did for the retailer last year.

On that score the company believes that she can deliver. The chief creative officer of the brand told reporters that they believe Julianne is the perfect choice for the campaign this year.

Michael Smaldone said, “Julianne Moore was a very natural choice for us because she is a woman who is in her 40s, and is strong and confident.”

The pictures are carefully taken with settings that blend the image and the background perfectly. There were several shots of Julianne in several outfits.

The pictures will be published in ads and other promotions from March.
