Julianne Moore’s ‘Far From Heaven’ To Be Revamped Into A Stage Musical!

which was released in 2002 will be represented in a new avatar again. The movie is being turned into a musical and will be presented on stage soon. The exact date is not yet fixed but the musical is approximately set to happen later this year.
American playwright Richard Greenberg, composer / music director Scott David Frankel and librettist / lyricist Michael Korie has been given the responsibilities to revamp the classic film which was based on a 1950s housewife, who discovers her husband is gay.
Julianne Moore’s performance in the movie was highly appreciated and she was even nominated for the Oscars. Moore’s recent movie The Kids Are All Right was a pretty big success as well. She was nominated at the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, Phoenix Film Critics Society Award for Best Actress, and Screen Actors Guild Award.
Apart from being a great actor, Moore is also a great writer. She takes avid interest in writing for children. Her literary debut was in October 2007, when she published a children’s book called ‘Freckleface Strawberry.’ She followed up with a second children’s book on April 2009 named ‘Freckleface Strawberry and the Dodgeball Bully’.
When asked about her inspiration, she stated that the books were based on her experiences as a child.
