California, Jan 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Golden Globe Awards ceremony, which is one of the most prestigious award ceremony of the entertainment industry honored some of the outstanding performances of this year. This award recognizes some of the incredible works of the film and television industry that has been done in a year. Though awards for the films forms a major part of the attraction, awards for performances in television series is also considered to be equally important. This year, Julianna Margulies has been honored with the Golden Globe Award for her performance in the television drama, “The Good Wife.”

Julianna Margulies, who had displayed some brilliant acting skills in “The Good Wife” was overwhelmed to receive the Golden Globe Award in the category for Best Actress in a Drama. The actress donned a beautifully embroidered crepe dress of black and garnet color was overtly joyous to receive this award. In her acceptance speech, she said,”I’m blessed to go to this job everyday.” The actress was quite humble and acknowledged the executives of CBS for believing in her and taking her for the night drama.

As per the reports, the 43 year old actress, Julianna Margulies, had portrayed the role of a female attorney. Her character in the drama is quite bold and the lady does not discontinue work even after the sex scandal of her politician husband had been exposed in the society. Julianna Margulies, who had earlier won the Emmy Awards for her brilliant performance in “ER” has also been nominated for three Screen Actors Guild Awards for the performance in the “The Good Wife.”
