Julianna Margulies Appears In “The Late Show With David Letterman”

julianna_marguliesMar 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “The Good Wife” star Julianna Margulies appeared on “The Late Show With David Letterman” where she was all in conversation about her new movie “City Island,” which is a comedy directed by Raymond De Felitta. The film traces the story of the Rizzo family where Vince Rizzo, the father, (played by Andy Garcia) divulges what he calls his biggest secret, before the entire assembly in drama class. Utter pandemonium follows, with the fact gradually coming to light that everyone in the family, and beyond, is afraid of inadvertently revealing some secret or the other, and everyone resorting to half truths to keep it under wraps.

Julianna Margulies is paired opposite Andy Garcia and she essays the role of his short-tempered wife. The others in the cast include Dominik Garcia-Lorido, Steven Strait, Emily Mortimer and Alan Arkin. It is the very attempt of all the Rizzo family members in covering their secrets which triggers the element of laughter in the movie. The film is set in the backdrop of City Island, and mainly deals with the vices that people try to hide from their nearest ones.

Juliana Margulies, who has appeared in many a television series shot to fame with her role of Carol Hathaway in the NBC medical drama “ER” that bagged her an Emmy Award. Following that she lent her voice for female iguana don Neera in “The Mists of Avalon” and in the animation movie “Dinosaur”. She also holds a Golden Globe and a screen Actors Guild Award for her outstanding performance in the role of an attorney in the American legal drama “The Good Wife”.
