Dec 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) December 8th will mark the completion of three decades of popular Beatles singer John Lennon’s assassination. It has been thirty long years since the famous musician got shot at the hands of Mark David Chapman. It is hard for John Lennon’s eldest son Julian Lennon to believe that their famous father lost his life in such a tragic manner. Julian Lennon was seen pouring his heart out to a reputed news channel regarding the incident in which his musical icon father was shot dead.
In the interview, Julian Lennon traced his childhood memories narrating how the children were torn apart with grief when they learnt that their dad was no more. Julian Lennon said that when their mother arrived the family was already broken down with grief. He then went on to add how his experiences were when he was on his way to New York from Britain after they had received the news. One of the most heart-wrenching moment of the interview was when Julian Lennon accounts how he had felt when he saw that every one on that flight had newspapers saying that the famous Beatles singer was murdered. He says that the dark day is something he will never be able to forget in his entire life.
Julian Lennon revealed that when his father had abandoned the family, he had felt the same amount of pain as he did when the news of his death arrived. Sadly, this is how he views John Lennon’s death. He asserted that even icons are often at fault.
