London, January 16 (ANI): Julia Roberts is planning to shift her mother Betty from Georgia to California, so that she can be close to her, it has emerged.

The actress’ mother had to undergo emergency heart surgery for an angioplasty procedure after suffering a reported heart attack, while Roberts was shooting new movie ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ in India.

However, since then ‘The Notting Hill’ star has been staying in her family home in Malibu.

“Julia was so freaked out by her mum’s close call in late September that she vowed to move her closer to her own family. Betty plans to move to Pacific Palisades in the next few months,” the Daily Express quoted a source as telling the National Enquirer.

Also, Roberts apparently wants her three young kids with husband Danny Moder to spend more time with their grandmother.

The insider added: “She wants her mother nearby to see her three kids - Hazel, Phinnaeus and Henry - as much as possible. (ANI)
