Julia Roberts To Return On Big Screen With ‘Eat Pray Love’

juMar 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hollywood’s original “Pretty Woman” Julia Roberts has been missing in action for a long time. After taking a sabbatical from the silver screen she concentrated on her personal life and fans certainly miss her big time. She only did small roles in a few flicks, like the recently released ‘Valentine’s Day’. However, she did not act in a movie in the leading role for a long time. The news of her acting in a movie named ‘Eat Pray Love’ was flashed earlier and a part of the movie was shot in India. The actress is known for her versatile acting skills and she has shared screen space with several noted actors of Hollywood. She has also won several coveted awards in her career.

In ‘Eat Pray Love’ the actress is playing the lead role. The movie has an exciting cast. Reportedly, Julia Roberts paid special attention to this movie and spent a lot of time in developing the character. She spent a lot of time learning Sanskrit hymns and mantras as it has been reported. The movie deals with spirituality and soul searching. Its director is Ryan Murphy, who has several awards nominations to his credit. The trailer of the movie has been released already. It has been shot in three countries, including India.

The film will be released in the USA in August. The movie has run into problem as Rajan Zed, President of Universal society of Hinduism has opposed it. According to him, the film has dealt with sensitive issues of Hinduism in a westernized manner which may hurt the religious sentiments of the Indians. The film is eagerly awaited by the fans of the actress worldwide.
