Julia Roberts Is One Cloud Nine!

The Italian maker Lavazza has roped in Julia to play the goddess Venus in the commercial. The commercial features Julia as artist Sandro Botticelli’s Venus, the painter’s muse who does not smile unless she is being handed a cup of Lavazza’s A Modo Mio coffee. Botticelli wants his muse to smile for his painting –“Spring Allegory”. Botticelli’s muse eventually smiles when she is being handed over the brew. The painter is ecstatic with joy with the result.
It is a well thought out commercial where the ’Pretty Woman” star hardly has to speak. .The buzz is doing the rounds that the advertisement will be screened in Italy. The makers of the advertisement have decided to unveil the ad during the Christmas season to get the maximum mileage out of it.
With Lavazza in her kitty, Julia Roberts joins hands with Ocean’s Eleven co-stars George Clooney who promotes another coffee brand, Nespresso.
