Aug 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The premier of the much awaited Julia Roberts starer ‘Eat Pray Love’, a screen adaptation of the bestseller novel written by Elizabeth Gilbert took place at New York on August 10th. The 42 year old actress made an appearance at the New York premier of her film and she looked absolutely ravishing in a gorgeous black outfit. She proved once again that despite motherhood and a long, self imposed sabbatical from the glamour world called Hollywood, she still has the elements in her to steal the limelight. Her glowing complexion made it hard for the onlookers to believe that she has really crossed 40. There was hardly any sign of the so called extra pounds that she had put on while filming in Italy earlier.

Apart from the beautiful actress, the premiere of ‘Eat Pray Love’ was attended by the author Elizabeth Gilbert and the duo posed in front of the cameras at the Ziegfeld Theatre of New York on Tuesday. The talented Spanish actor Javier Bardem, who plays the man the actress falls in love with in the film was also at the event and he looked graceful and charming as ever. The other male actors of the film namely Richard Jenkins and Billy Crudup were also present there. Ryan Murphy the movie’s director and co writer also joined in the festivities.

The pretty woman actress insisted that she had really put on weight while shooting for the film. The premier turned out to be a truly star studded affair. It remains to be seen how the critically acclaimed film fares at the box office.
