Julia Louis Dreyfus on Conan O’Brien

It is the third episode of the first season of “Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” already. The Wednesday, June 3 episode of “Tonight with Conan O’Brien” featured Julia Louis Dreyfus and Bradley Cooper as guest stars and singer Sheryl Crow as the musical guest. Julia Louis Dreyfus was the first guest for the episode. Bradley Cooper joined Conan O’Brien later as the second guest.

Julia Louis Dreyfus stars in the NBC sitcom, “New Adventures of Old Christine.” The series had made its debut on the network in 2006. It has had a successful 4 season run with 67 episodes. NBC is planning to get the show back on the channel for a fifth season run.

In the month of April 2009, Julia Louis Dreyfus had received an award in the Universal City. The award ceremony was organized to honor old television stars for their contribution to the entertainment industry. Amy Poehler had handed the award over to Dreyfus. Dreyfus had also attended the GLAAD media awards where she was accompanied by names such as Rebecca Gayheart, Marisa Tomei, Kathy Griffin and others.

Julia Louis Dreyfus is hugely popular because of her two sitcoms, “Seinfeld” and “New adventures of Old Christine.” She plays Elaine Benes in “Seinfeld” and Christine Campbell in the latter sitcom. Dreyfus was a part of NBC’s hugely successful “Saturday Night Live,” which ran from 1982 to 1985. It was while working on SNL that she met writer Larry David who is the co-creator of “Seinfeld.”

Dreyfus won the Emmy for the Lead Actress category for her work in “New Adventures of Old Christine.” She won the award exactly a decade after winning her previous one for the role of Elaine Benes in “Seinfeld.”
