Jude Law to play Dr. Watson in Guy Ritchies Sherlock Holmes
October 2nd, 2008 - 2:04 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct 2 (ANI): Hollywood actor Jude Law is set to play Dr Watson in Guy Ritchies Sherlock Holmes.
The The Talented Mr. Ripley actor will act alongside Robert Downey Junior, who plays Sherlock Holmes in the flick, which will be shot in London.
Ritchie is overzealous about the flick, which has the biggest budget he has ever worked on.
Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler, Mark Strong as villain Blackwood, and Kelly Reilly as Watson’’s love interest Mary, also star in the flick.
“I”d like to bring something new to this project - I have a few tricks up my sleeve, BBC quoted Ritchie, as saying.
It won”t be a traditional Guy Ritchie thing, it will be a new Guy Ritchie thing, he added. (ANI)
