Jude Law set to be father for the fourth time
August 3rd, 2009 - 7:37 pm ICT by IBNSAug 3 (IBNS) Jude Law is all set to become the proud father of a baby girl. Two days after the actor revealed that he wants to become father for the fourth time, mother-to-be Samantha Burke revealed that she will give birth to a baby girl.
Burke, a 24-year-old model and aspiring actress from Pensacola, said that the girl’s name will be Sophia.
Law’s spokesperson released the following statement exclusively to Entertainment Weekly and ew.com that read: “Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year. Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.”
Burke in a statement said: “Law has been responsive and supportive throughout the relationship and pregnancy.He will remain so as a father once Baby Sophia is born.”
Burke’s representatives said that she fell in love with Law when they met on the sets of Sherlock Holmes in New York City last year.
The 36-year-old Law is currently single and has three children with his former wife, Sadie Frost.
