London, Sep 25 (IANS) British actor Jude Law’s work commitments have prevented him from visiting his newborn daughter Sophia till the end of this year.
“Sadly, Jude will not be able to see Sophia until he finishes work in a theatre production in New York and his work commitments will keep him away from his daughter,” contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.

“Jude is keen to see Sophia and will make sure that he visits her before returning to Britain,” he added.

Jude is also said to be concerned about the newborn and her mother Samantha Burke - a model with whom he had a brief fling last year - that they could be affected by the attention surrounding his visit.

“Jude thinks that if he goes to visit them immediately, it will be a media circus. He doesn’t see why he should give the paparazzi the pleasure,” the source explained.

Jude already has three other children - Rafferty, 12, Iris, eight, and six-year-old Rudy - with his ex-wife Sadie Frost.
