Joy Behar & Marilu Henner Among Next Miss America Judges
December 10th, 2010 - 2:12 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonDec 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to the Miss America contest’s website, Joy Behar, co host on ‘The View’, will head the judge’s panel in the next Miss America Pageant, which will be held this January. some of the other seven judges who will reside with her include Marilu Henner, Marc Cherry- who created ‘Desperate Housewives’, and Mark Willis- country singer.
The press statement placed Ms Behar in charge of the seven judge pael, and the other judges were announced on Wednesday’s episode of ‘The View’. Henner’s acting experience boasts of over three dozen films, and five Emmy Award nominations. She is best known for her work in ‘Taxi’ and ‘Evening Shade’.
The Miss America Pageat is to be aired on ABC, with Brooke Burke - co host of ‘Dancing With the Stars’, and Chris Harrison - of ‘The Bachelor’. It will take place on January 15, at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
