Star of memorable movies like ‘(500) Days of Summer’ and ‘Inception’ Joseph Gordon-Levitt announced the sudden departure of his brother, Dan Gordon-Levitt. He broke the sad news on the popular social networking and microblogging site Twitter.

He wrote in a tweet that his brother was a super hero born in 1974. He posted that more information on his brother’s death is available on his website, who was also known as ‘Burning Dan’. He wrote that his brother was very creative and a fun-filled person.

Industry people used to call him as a creative spirit. He added that after Dan’s death he still continues to inspire us in many ways. He wrote that his brother never wanted anybody to be sad over his death, and he wanted people to celebrate his work and his life.

However, Joseph didn’t announce the cause of his brother’s death. He posted he is planning to write a autobiography for Dan. Access Hollywood contacted rep of Joseph immediately after the actors tweet. However the cause of death was not disclosed.
