Joseph Gordon-Levitt all set to work in a sci-fi thriller
April 18th, 2011 - 8:51 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, April 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Joseph Gordon-Levitt has revealed that he got the chance to work in the science fiction thriller “Looper” because of his previous work in “Inception.”
The actor was in the Chinese city of Shanghai to promote the movie. The actor revealed that his role in “Looper” could be the most important that he has ever played. He said the role that he played in the film is what he has worked on “for my whole life.”
The film was directed by Rian Johnson and other stars like Emily Brunt, Bruce Willis and Xu Qing are all part of the movie. The movie is scheduled to be released in 2012.
Qing said the film is like nothing that she has worked on before. Details of the movie are scant but it has been revealed that the movie has time travel in it. According to people familiar with the project, Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis would play the same character in different parts of the movie.
Gordon-Levitt is also set to play a role in an upcoming project titled “The Dark Knight Rises.“ his role in the movie has not yet been named.
