bigbroThe finale for the Big Brother season 11 produced quite an unlikely winner, as Jordan Lloyd took home a grand $500,000 as cash prize. The 22 year old waitress from Matthews, N.C., beat a host of stiff competition from such others like Natalie Martinez from Arizona, who was a top ranker in scheming and politics in the CBS reality show.

At the draw of the 11th season, it emerged that the viewers had opted to settle in for the often goofy looking Lloyd to emerge as the final winner. Lloyd received the majority of viewer’s support in the form of securing the maximum number of votes. However, Lloyd’s win had come from securing the maximum number of votes from the show’s seven member jury panel. She won by 5-2, which is a very wide margin.

The show’s host Julie Chen(very visibly pregnant), announced America’s favorite Big Brother Houseguest for this season to be Jeff. The win fetched for Jeff a cash prize of $25,000.

As it can be guessed, the season finale of a very action packed and spiced up Big Brother was as much entertaining as the whole had been. The unpredictable winner also added in to the spice. As it so happens, only a mere two weeks ago, no one could have ever predicted that Jordan could walk off with winning the title of the show and well as the enormous prize money. However, Big Brother is only about all things unexpected as it can be stretched too, when strangers are housed together in seclusion over a long period of time.
