jbNov 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There will not be any further airing of popular original Disney series Jonas LA. The second season ended on October 3, with its last episode “Band of Brothers”. However, if some of the audiences were expecting the show to be back on air, they would certainly be disheartened with the news.

Disney decided to cancel the series after 34 episodes, as they were apparently not getting enough viewer-ships. This new was finalized when the show’s director tweeted on November 6 that there would be no more of Jonas LA on Disney. However, the channel has confirmed that there were supposed to be just two seasons, with 34 episodes, with 21 in the first season and 13 in the second. All of these original episodes have already been aired. The reason for its termination was quite apparent as it got an average viewership of 3.7 millions in two seasons in two seasons which was much less than what was expected out of it. Compared to Hannah Montana, which which attracted a whopping 1.7 million audience, this show rated way below. A Disney spokes person told a reputed magazine that they were lucky to have with the Jonas Brothers, who for the first time made Disney’s way to the Emmy nomination for Outstanding Children’s Program in the second season. The channel was really blown by it as they have never been up for an Emmy before.

Disney however is ready to work with the Jonas Brothers in other upcoming projects. The Jonas Brothers are currently busy with wrapping up their 40+ city concert tour. They are supposed to get back to Disney soon for some other music projects with Disney’s Hollywood Records.
