Jonas Brothers Cancel Concerts in Mexico for Security Reasons
October 15th, 2010 - 12:41 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonOct 14 (THANDIAN NEWS) The Jonas Brothers, the American boy band of brothers which have risen to success with a trail of teenyboppers following behind them, has decided to cancel their scheduled concerts in Mexico, due to the violence which has erupted in the country.
The boys were supposed to perform at the Estadio Universitario in Monterrey on October 21, however a statement was released by their concert promoter, ‘Live Nation’ which read, “Due to a recent series of unfortunate events in the city of Monterrey, Mexico, the Jonas Brothers, in consultation with Live Nation, have decided to cancel their upcoming concert date. Our fans in Monterrey and all of Mexico are some of the best the world.”
The tour dates in Guadalajara and Mexico City later this month have not yet been postponed.
