Washington, Feb 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jon Gosselin and TLC have settled their lawsuits. TLC had issued a breach of contract lawsuit against him in October 2009, but on Wednesday, the network said that they had settled the lawsuit. Their lawsuit had claimed that he had failed to meet his obligations, as an exclusive employee of the network, while appearing on rival networks’ programs for monetary terms. The network said that he had also made unauthorized public disclosures about the show. In response to TLC’s suit, Jon Gosselin also filed a countersuit against TLC, which said that TLC violated Pennsylvania’s child labor laws in filming “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”

TLC spokeswoman Laurie Goldberg said on Wednesday that all conditions of the settlement are confidential, and the network will take the appropriate steps to finish the litigation process. “Jon has expressed his desire to close the litigation chapter of ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8,’ Mark Jay Heller, Gosselin’s attorney said. “Sometimes litigants that kiss and make up find their relationship is much better the second time around. As Jon’s attorney, I truly hope this new adventure for TLC and the Gosselins is a much more joyful journey.”
