ABC News’ Chris Cuomo in an interview with Jon Gosselin (of TLC’s “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ fame) for “Good Morning America” shed light on how Gosselin had entered into a cosy relationship with his wife Kate Gosselin, with whom he is drastically unhappy now. The show discussed serious issues like mid-life crisis, and focused upon building new love interests. Gosselin told his viewers that he was consistently “beaten down” and “abused ” by his wife which is what ultimately led him to withdraw from the relationship.

He revealed that for a considerable period he listened to her directions, as she dominated his actions and discretionary powers, even limiting his outside visits, to meet friends or roam about.

Jon also claimed that he was head over heels for his new pretty and young girlfriend, Hailey Glassman for whom he made some public demonstrations on the show. However Chris did not pay much heed to all those chivalrous nonsense.

He continued to inquire how much veracity there was in Jon’s linkage with a teacher, in the company of whom he was discovered in a club, or whether Jon was extending his personal life without fussing and starring on a reality show that featured divorced dads. Jon denied both the issues, and continued standing up to his image, saying he was not to be blamed for the bad marriage, that he had never grumbled about parenting, or even spent irrationally on drugs or alcohol.

Dr. Laura speaking on the issue of the couples not eager enough to save a marriage said, that they were “shacking up”.
