June 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jon Gosselin is once again hitting headlines lately but not for any of his latest television ventures and neither because of any updates about his separation from former wife Kate Gosselin. According to reports, the reality star has got himself a huge dragon tattoo on his back which supposedly symbolizes his new birth. The latest addition in the life of the almost forgotten television personality came to the limelight after he sold pictures of the tattoo to a news source while also giving them an exclusive interview.

The father of the eight revealed in the interview that he had been planning the tattoo for many years now and ultimately decided to go ahead with the dragon tattoo as he wanted something that depicted some kind of a major change or re-birth in his life. This hardly comes as a surprise given the fact that Jon Gosselin has mostly been out of work since the reality show “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ featuring him and his the then wife Kate Gosselin as well as his eight children. While revealing details about the tattoo, the former reality star added that it took a total of 14 hours to complete and was done in a Pennsylvania tattoo parlor about a week ago.

Meanwhile, the reality star’s new manager Canaan Rubin divulged to news sources that the tattoo symbolizes a turning point in his life while also emphasizing that it marks a time of transformation as well as improvement in Jon Gosselin’s life. However, this is not the first tattoo for the reality star as he is also known to have a Korean flag embodied in one of his shoulders.
