Jon Gosselin bids adieu to ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8′

Los Angeles, Sep 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a major TV upheaval Jon Gosselin had to bow out from the TV series ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8’. The show will be renamed and relaunched as ‘Kate Plus 8’ in its new series, which airs in November.
In the new season, Kate and her 8 children will move on in their lives bereft of Jon. This is the theme of the new season, due to start in November.
The press release said that, TLC will continue its exclusive relationship with Jon but he would have an intermittent presence on the show now. As, Kate and Jon have called it quits, so the show will also focus on that aspect of their relationship. So Kate will be shown as a single mother of 5-year old sextuplets and 8-year-old twins.
The show will feature all the challenges that she would face in her journey as a solo parent. TLC president said, “the family has evolved and we are also trying to evolve with it. We feel Kate’s journey really resonates with the viewers.”
TLC also announced that it was also developing a new project slated for Kate in 2010.
In a June episode, of the show the couple let the cat out of the bag, that they were calling their relationship quits. The divorce proceedings are already on.
