Coconut Creek, Florida, Oct. 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The “Jon and Kate plus 8” couple along with their kids visited the famous Butterfly world situated in Florida. The kids were seen having a great time, with the girls feeding nectar to the birds. It was a revelation for the parents when the kids were not afraid of creepy bugs. Butterfly World is known for its wide variety of butterflies and is the first butterfly park in the whole of southern hemisphere.
In 1968, a man named Ronald Boender started raising butterflies in his home to pursue his love for the creature. Today he is known as the founder of the largest butterfly world in the world. Situated in Florida in the beautiful city of coconut creek this butterfly park boasts of housing 3000 butterflies, fluttering around the premise.
The Park is divided into different segments. The Paradise Adventure Aviary houses different ponds and fountains along with frolicking butterflies. The hanging pupa and the butterflies emerging from the pupa are also put on display in the park in the Hanging garden And Butterfly Emerging Area. The Tropical Rain Forest Aviary has not only butterflies but a variety of birds in and around the tropical plants and the free flowing waterfalls. Other segments include the Grace Garden and The Jewels Of the Sky Avery.
The butterfly World hosts a number of events all round the year. The Jon and Kate couple has once again brought it into the limelight. It has been a favorite for concerts and other musical programs. This month the park has organized workshops to teach people how to identify different butterflies and attract them to their own backyards. What more, the workshop is completely free of cost!!
