Pennsylvania, July 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After a nasty divorce, it was obvious that the custody settlement is going to be a long drawn battle. And in the case of Jon and Kate Gosselin, there was no exception to the rule.

The parents of eight were granted a divorce recently and finally they have managed to reach a custody settlement that is to their mutual satisfaction. Even though the exact details of the settlement are not known, as the order is sealed by the court, yet TMZ reported that the duo is going to work for the benefit of their children.

It ought to be mentioned that in April, Jon Gosselin had taken advantage of Kate’s stint on the dance reality show – Dancing With The Stars to file for the primary custody of the eight kids. His lawyer had labeled Kate as the ‘absentee mom’ because she was frequently seen in the media and on the TV because of her TV commitments.

According to TMZ, a source close to the couple said that, “An official agreement between Jon and Kate has been reached and they will be working together for the benefit of their children.” It is certainly hoped that both the parents have the primary interests of their children in their heart.
