Washington, June 17 (ANI): ‘Tomb Raider’ star Angelina Jolie has made an appeal in a video on the occasion of World Refugee Day 2010.
Jolie, 35, spoke out on behalf of refugees in a 30-second video to commemorate World Refugee Day 2010 on June 20.
“Having a home, a place we belong, a place we feel safe, is something most of us take for granted,” CBC News quoted her as saying in the video clip, released on June 16.
“Please remember the millions of people around the world forced from their homes. Because the only hope of return is to not be forgotten,” she stated. (ANI)
