Jolie Pitt Become Owners Of Lavish Italian Villa

brad1 July 31, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The star couple of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jones have purchased a lavish Italian villa for $40 million.

The property boasts of 16 bedrooms and is located in Valpolicella, in the Verona Province. Some of the most prominent features of the villa include a home gymnasium, a couple of swimming pools, multiple Jacuzzis as well as a screening room. Each of the rooms is laid out in red marble and is said to in the same city as the setting of the romantic play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.

The villa dates back to the 16th century and had been designed by Andrea Palladian who belonged to Venice. It sits atop the Valpolicella hills which is situated slightly north west of Verona. The stars had finalized the villa after looking at two more properties in the same area.

Jolie Pitt is said to looked over the villa for exactly ten minutes before they said ‘yes’ to the deal. This was stated by Alexander Proto, a consultant dealing with property and reported by the E! News.

They were determined about buying the property and were extremely nice about it said Proto. He went on to add that the couple were ideal as customers and the property dealers were pleased to have dealt with them.

Living in such kind of luxury is not novel for the star couple. The twins Vivienne and Knox were in fact, born when the pair of Jolie and Pitt were camping in the south of France at the Chateau Miraval.
