JoJo Simmons appears on Run’s House

Yesterday’s episode of Run’s House provided some light on the proceeding that led on to the arrest of Joseph ‘JoJo’ Simmons Jr., the teenage son of Joseph ‘Rev Run’ Simmons of Run DMC. The arrest was made about a month ago on the charge of possessing the banned drug, marijuana. On the show Rev. Run and JoJo talked about the incident which will remain etched in the mind of this youngster and his family. On the 22nd of June the show was telecast on MTV and JoJo was supported by his whole family. Incidentally, Rev Run himself is a star of the reality show, the Run’s House.
According to reports, on the 8th of May, 2009, JoJo Simmons was arrested while he was allegedly caught buying marijuana in Manhattan’s Upper West side. There were further reports that the young rapper who is also a member of the rap band, Team Blackout, had tried to escape from the scene of crime, which then led to the charge of reckless endangerment. In addition to these, JoJo was also charged for resisting arrest and the criminal use of the drug named paraphernalia.
In the show JoJo told his sisters Angela and Vanessa that he couldn’t be “that stupid…Russy doesn’t understand fully. Diggy do, but he’s about to go to high school and that’s where it all started for me.” His sister, Venessa also said that as human beings they were all bound to make mistakes, saying that mistakes make up one’s life. She continued saying, “JoJo is ok, he just made a[n] oops.”
